Life Evades and, in Darkness, Plays
In seeking to vanquish all contingency and achieve total clarity, a flash of intense light is just as blinding, perhaps more so, than darkness.
To Free or not to Free?
While capitalism presents itself as the barrier preventing collapse, the very collapse it claims to guard against arises from the same impulse that drives capitalism. Capitalist reasoning is circular.
THE PARADOX OF LIFE
Most of us want the same things out of life. Here are my five:
◦ To be loved by others, have someone to love and to be helpful to others
◦ To be happy and satisfied
◦ To eat well, to be healthy and to be compassionately taken care of when not healthy
◦ To enjoy and appreciate nature
◦ To not suffer from extreme climates - to be not too warm or not too cold

The post modernists are merging Freud, Heidegger, Nietzsche, and Marx as they restage Zhuangzhi, Buddha, and Maharishi. In doing so they reveal the path lies in the merger of Bookchin, Baudrillard, Gray, and Becker. Chomsky though he misses the deeper Truth, remains valuable. Himself, in combination with Parenti, Davis, and Goldman embody the force of elite and systemic critique required for the merger of the intelligentsia with the people. If we could incorporate their passionate directness into our resolve to be unresolved, if we could adopt a stance of negative capability, and if we could trust in the people, perhaps we could catalyze a movement with the rhythm of Bob Marley, J. Cole, Tonio K, and John Lennon.
Beyond the Fog: Reframing Power, Consciousness, and the Working Class
